Ouwehands Dierenpark is one of the most well known zoos in The Netherlands. With that fame comes the responsibility to educate about the importance of the natural world. Ouwehands is an exciting inspirator, educator and conservator for endangered species.

Zoos are sensitive subjects and the old idea of a zoo is no longer acceptable. Ouwehands Dierenpark is a park for the little ones to be amazed at the animals, but also to educate them about their importance and invest in worldwide preservation. Two completely different sides of the same coin.

The traditional monkey-peeking image of zoos are over. It's time for a new meaning, a more purposeful meaning of the zoo.

The new brand narrative and campaign encourages people to visit Ouwehand to get inspired by nature. It motivates people to reconnect with nature within themselves, while also raising awareness that the animal world needs our help. 

The brand narrative and way of thinking embraces the mentality of the zoo in and outside. Visitors and employees. Additionally, it gives the opportunity to all kinds of ongoing things do act up on.

As one of the first zoos to care for koalas, we’ve breathed new life into the “Nature Calling” campaign, keeping its spirit alive and reaffirming our commitment to wildlife protection. This milestone is a renewed call to action, reminding us all of our responsibility to protect the natural world.
